This was previously the website of the Office of Technical Services (OTS), which was disestablished with effect from 1 January, 2008.

All functions previously carried out by OTS, as well as all of its staff, have been transferred to the University's academic Groups.

The previous OTS Health and Safety team is now named the Health and Safety Operational Unit. It is hosted by the Science, Engineering, Environment and Technology (SEET) Group, and provides specialist advice across all Groups.

Current information contained within the OTS website is under review and will be published to alternative websites in due course. Until this task is completed, the previous structure of the OTS website has been retained, as has much of its content which therefore still contains references to OTS.
