Workplace Health and Safety Officers have completed a seven day government accredited training course.

Workplace Health and Safety Representatives

Workplace Health and Safety Representatives are representatives from Academic and general staff on each campus elected every two years to Campus Health and Safety Committees. The Campus Health and Safety Committees function as per health and safety legislative requirements and meet quarterly.

HR Advisers

HR Advisers perform a wide variety of services including:

• the provision of detailed advice about HR policies;
• offering advice concerning workplace health and safety matters, including workers' compensation and rehabilitation;
• advice on orientation of new employees;
• the coordination of recruitment for senior selection appointments;
• the provision of advice and assistance to managers and directors in the performance review process for general staff

Harassment Contact Officers

Harassment and Discrimination Contact Officers provide information and assistance to those experiencing harassment and discrimination.

First Aid Officers

First Aid Officers provide first aid assistance in emergencies in accordance with their training and qualifications, normally senior First Aid Certificate.
